Sterling silver is such an amazing medium. It's strong but is easy to hammer, etch, texture, roll, and torch and still be shined back up to brilliant! Lately I've been working with Argentium silver, which is stronger and is very tarnish resistant.
This bracelet was made from 22g sterling silver sheet. The squares are 3/4" wide by 1" long. Before cutting them into shapes, the sheet was run through a rolling mill to get the great texture. A patina was applied to bring out the "bubbles". Next I seal them with a spray sealer and let dry.
The pieces are assembled with 8mm sterling silver jump rings. The clasp is a 3 hook sliding clasp. The finished piece measures 5.5" long and fits a 5" wrist.
All bracelets are finished with a paste wax sealer or a spray sealer to help prevent tarnish. An anti-tarnish pad comes with each piece and should be kept with the bracelet to also help prevent tarnish. To clean, use a jewelry cloth or liquid jewelry cleaner.
