Another new series I've been working on (and having a blast) is Hollow Forms. These necklaces remind me of little "pods" - filled with nothing but air! They all have at least 2 main pieces - a top and a bottom. Some have wire soldered between them to give them even more thickness. Some are strung from black leather cord, others are strung from chain. In my opinion these type of necklaces look better strung short - 18" to 20" drape. Some are copper, some are silver, some are brass - some have all 3 metals.
This particular necklace has small holes cut around the center and the outer edges of the top piece. A patina was applied to really highlight the rolling mill pattern.
The necklace hangs 11" from 2mm black leather cord with a sterling silver hook and eye clasp.
They all look great on a white or black tee shirt!!

All my jewelry ships out with an anti-tarnish pad that should be kept with the piece when it is not being worn. For all my copper and brass pieces, I seal them with either a paste wax or a spray sealer. Most of my silver is made with Argentium silver which is very tarnish resistant, but an anti-tarnish pad will still come with the piece.
